One Carrington – Mayfair, London.

Project Overview:
Carrington Street is a landmark mixed-use scheme comprising the redevelopment of the former NCP car park at Carrington Street, to create 28 super-prime residential units and a significant commercial provision.

The new development includes an eight storey office block with a gym, art gallery, bike store and below ground parking, together with a seven storey residential block with a double height reception. It will also create a direct public connection between Green Park and Shepherd Market.

The new street between the residential and office blocks is activated by a series of entrances into the retail unit and residential lobby on one side and the office lobby and art gallery entrance to the other, while the active street frontage benefits building users and the wider area.

Highlights:

• Customised Elements: As with prime residential projects the client has a vested interest in the finer details of every aspect of the interiors. For ‘One Carrington’ the Bronze finish was key to the ‘Gio Ponti’ inspired lever handle and the angled element within the flush pull gave the pocket sliding doors that added elegance.

• Design Collaboration: The warm soft interiors within the residential apartments gives a calming relaxed atmosphere which blended extremely well with the silent magnetic door locks, allowing the door frame not to be interrupted by any visible latch strike plate and the added serenity of the near silent operation.
